Summary
The Defender 03-Z was a model of battle droid based on ROGUE-A01 design that saw use during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. 03-Z was similar in appearance to the Defender 01-X but with the addition of a personal energy shield, set of holo decoys and armor melt weaponry. The Defender 03-Z carried a blaster rifle and electroblade, and a number of them were deployed to protect the satellite control tower on the Markaran Plains of the planet Balmorra.
